Audience Feedback Sandwich 2014

Audience Feedback from Near & Far: Sandwich 2014

“I feel inspired and I wonder how so many young artists have gained such wisdom? I was not so balanced as you all seem. So my insight is that there is an amazing community of young artists here on the Cape, and we need to do all we can to keep you here, creating, and successful.”

“[It’s] an evening that will captivate your senses, your mind, and your emotions. This group of young artists presents wisdom beyond their years in a collage of original works: dance, music, poetry, photography. They share themselves in a professional yet personal way. You’ll be impressed that so much talent exists here on Cape Cod. And you’ll be glad this group of people has each other for support, as many their age do not have the wisdom to be so vulnerable.”

 - Julie Fraser (of Barnstable, MA)

“The event kept the interest of the varied audience members by presenting the visual arts as well as the performing arts in an impressive way.  The choreography was innovative  and combined  the classically trained dancers as well as the everyday performers with the same skill and aplomb!  I loved seeing the young audience members responding enthusiastically with appreciation to the exposure of new art forms!”

- Dottie Beaton (of Orleans, MA)

“I loved that the event brought together so many types of artists and performances with unique works, but still presented a cohesive event. My favorite part of the event was that it brought together artists and members of the community. Very few events showcase professional artists alongside younger artists so seamlessly. I think the event would appeal to fans of many types of art and performance. There was a little something for everyone!”

- Ryan Barrett (of Sandwich, MA)
