COALESCE DANCE COLLECTIVE

Coalesce is Near & Far: Collaborative Art Project’s contemporary dance collective.

This collective is a place for inquisitive, passionate movers to gather together to make inclusive movement-based performance work for the Cape Cod community and beyond.

GOALS

To give artistry and contemporary movement to the Cape community.

To support professional contemporary dance -making and performance on the Cape.

To build relationships with local entities as collaborators.

To give agency to local and guest choreographers.

To create a culture where contemporary dance is celebrated as a valued asset to the artistic palate on Cape Cod and beyond.

To be a safe space for all. Professional and community artists, multigenerational, all genders, LGBTQ+, and every body.

REHEARSALS

Weekly Class

Coalesce Contemporary Class - Near & Far Movement Lab class offering
- 90 min weekly class
- DATES + TIMES: TBA
$10 for Class or $60 Class Card for 6 Classes - * Special Rate for Coalesce Dance Collective Members

Weekly Rehearsal

Weekly Rehearsal occurs after the Movement Lab class.
- 90 min rehearsal
- DATES + TIMES: TBA
$5 Suggested Donation for the space rental (If that is possible for you! It's not mandatory!)
Additional rehearsals may be added. TBD based on performances.

We will work with you no matter your financial situation.

Our goal for next year (2019-2020) is to provide free class for all Coalesce Dance Collective Members as well as cover all rehearsal space rental fees. Please bear with us as we build this new company!

We're looking for dancers for the 2018-2019 season!

We're looking forward to meeting local dancers and building dance community!

Auditions are on a rolling basis in 2018-19.
